In the Name of God Amen the six and Twentieth day of November Anno dom 1668 And in the twentieth yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the
second by the grace of God kinge of England Sotland France and Ireland defender of the faithe &c I Steven Terryof warfeilde oin the County of Berks Clerke being in pfect health
and memory Renouncing all forner wills doe make and ordeing this to be my laste will and Testament in manner and Forme following Firste I Comit my soule into the hands of Jesus Christ
my onely saviour and Redeemer who dyed for my sinnes and rose againe for my Instisication and my body to the earth whence it was made, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor
And in my worldly goods wherewith god hathe blessed me I dispose in manner and forme followinge, First I give and bequeath to Avis Terry my beloved wiefe all such goods and Chattels
which my sister Powney late the relict of John Powney late of Bray in the said County of Berks yeoman deceased did give did give unto my said wife, by her last will and Testament and
all other goods and Chattels whatsoever that weare given her by any other Friends to dispose of at her owne will and pleasure Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Steven
Terry all those my houses situate Lying and being on snowe Hill in London wich weere given me by the laste will and Testament of John Gale my uncle To have
and to holde to my said sonne Steven Terry his heires and Assignes for ever, upon Condicon that he doe paye or cause to be paid, all such Legacies thereunto belonging , And if it
shal Happen that I doe sell or alien the said houses Then my will is that my said sone Steven Terry shall Receive the full and Just some of Two Hundred Pounds of lawfull
english money at the end of our determinacon of the Apprenticeshipe of xx the said Steven Terry in leiwe of the said houses Alsoe I give and bequeath to my sonne Steven
Terry the some of one Hundred Pounds of lawfull english money. And alsoe two Legacies amountting to tenn Pounds given to him by his grandmother Terry and his grandfather
Thomas Browne to be paid unto him at the end and determinacon of said Apprenticeshipe by my sonne John Terry out of the Rectory or parsonage of warfeild aforesaid
Item I give and bequeath to my sonne William Terry two Legacyes amounting to tenn Pounds given unto him by his grandmother Terry and his grandfather Thomas Browne
to be paid unto him withine one month after the end or determinacon of his apprenticeshie Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Hester Terry the some of one hundred
Pounds of lawfull english money to be payed unto her by my sonne John Tery within one yere after the decease of me and Avis Terry my said wiefe and the longeste
liver of them Item I give and bequeath to my two grandchildren Christopher Horsnaile the some of tenn pounds of lawfull english money and two Avis Horsnaile the sone of twentie
Pounds of like lawfull money both which said somes are to be paid at their severall ages of one and twentie yeares and I doe hereby appoynt and nominate my sonne John Terry to be
my sole executor of this my laste will and Testament In witnes whereof I doe hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare above first written.
